“The Kids”, aka me, got this for John this past Father’s Day. Our two oldest kids have started really enjoying sports and he didn’t have a glove to play catch. The memories we already made with it over one summer are so worth the cost of the glove! I love that it’s a high quality glove made of leather so it will last for thousands of games of catch!

We have a tradition in our house where John gets something for each of the kids (and oftentimes for me as well) from Roots on Black Friday. We love the cozy factor that comes with Roots apparel, but even more than that…we LOVE the quality and durability. Our youngest is now wearing our oldest’s old roots apparel, and it’s just as cozy as the day we got it, and I wash EVERYTHING in HOT water! This year I’m getting this one for John. Sssshhhhh!
Personalized Knife Carrier Set – $138
My dad has become Mr. Turkey in our family. No matter who is hosting, he’s being called into the kitchen to carve the turkey when it’s ready to go! He doesn’t leave anything up to chance and always brings his own favourite knifes and sharpener…wrapped in old tea towels and in a plastic shopping bag. While watching him this Thanksgiving I decided that this would be a perfect gift for him, someone who otherwise has everything already! This would be the best gift for the guy who loves to cook or the young adult who’s decided to pursue being a chef too! You can choose to have their name or initials engraved in it too!!

Hear me out…In a smaller home with smaller closets, it can be hard to find a good spot to hang up their clothes at the end of the work day where they’re not all over the clean stuff IYKYK. Whether they’re wearing suits daily or just like to hang out their clothes the night before, this is the perfect minimalist, space saving clothing valet (even though the photos show towels!)

A fan favourite in our house, Roots apparel makes its way under the tree every Christmas. If you get him these pants he’s going to be wearing them every chance he gets…unless you already stole them and have them on instead!
This jacket has a quilted liner that will keep him good and toasty running errands and taking the kids to school. Plenty of pockets to hold everything he needs or to keep his fingers nice and warm!
